Is a gig cancelled too late? The worker can claim 50% of the planned hours. But there are exceptions where this doesn't apply:
- Previous no-show | Did a worker fail to show up before? You can cancel all future gigs with this worker for free.
- Requirements not met | Is a requirement like language or a certificate missing? You can end the gig (early) for free. You only pay for the hours worked. You can also cancel future gigs with this worker for free. This only applies to provable requirements, like speaking a language or having a specific certificate.
- No ID | Is a worker unable or unwilling to show ID? You can send them home for free and cancel future gigs at no cost. Does the worker have a student visa? You can also send them home. Always report this to YoungOnes support.
